Supervisory Assistant - Blackheath Primary School
We wish to appoint a caring and energetic person to join our lunchtime team. They should have the welfare and safety of our children at heart. The successful candidates will provide a high level of care for all of the children at our school during lunchtimes. They will take responsibility for pupils’ welfare, safety and supervision during the lunch break. Experience in a school environment is desirable but not essential.
Duties include; supervising children and assisting them whilst they eat lunch. Ensuring children, including those who require 1:1 supervision are safe, happy and well-behaved during lunchtime, supervising children outside on the playground or in classrooms throughout the lunch break and administering first aid, if required (training will be provided).
The successful candidate will be reliable and flexible and usually work from 11:50 to 1.05pm Monday to Friday during term time only.
Blackheath Primary School is committed to safeguarding children. The successful candidate will need to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.

Band B SCP 9-13 (£16,755 - £17,391) pro rata (£8.68 - £9.01 per hour) plus a Living Wage supplement to £8.75 per hour, payable from 1 April 2018
