The Oaklands and Yarnfield Primary Schools
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join our school office teams to fulfil a pivotal role in the success of its financial functions. This role is 22 hours per week and split between Yarnfield Primary and The Oaklands Primary; the schools are in close proximity to one another in the Acocks Green area of Birmingham. The school is flexible with the working hours and these will be agreed at interview.
Both schools are on a journey of rapid school improvement and if you are passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of our pupils, this is a role for you.
There are no two same days in this role and the successful candidate will need to have the resilience and enthusiasm to deliver results in a fast paced environment. You will offer us experience of working within a finance role, have excellent IT, organisational and inter-personal skills and either relevant experience in a school environment or the willingness to undertake appropriate training. In return we will offer you an opportunity to develop this important role within a vibrant and innovative trust which is seeking to improve educational standards for all the pupils and students represented by the seven schools within its family.
Candidates must have a good level of IT skills and have intermediate experience of working with IT and Finance software. You will also need to be able to demonstrate that you are able to work flexibly, work calm under pressure and uphold a professional, friendly manner at all times.
