Solihull Council is looking for a talented communicator to join its central communications team. You will need to have top notch communication skills ; experience of working with a range of organisations and be looking for a new challenge.
Based in Solihull town centre the job is a varied mix of PR and marketing, with a little consultation and engagement thrown in.
Working across all the Council services you will provide colleagues with advice on all communication matters everything from communication plans to helping to organise the employee awards. The job is a fantastic opportunity to develop communication skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.
This post is offered as a temporary maternity cover for up to 12 months starting in October. Where appropriate, we would consider applicants seeking a secondment opportunity. If you wish to proceed on this basis you will need to gain your line manager/ employer’s approval before applying.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to complete an online test. Successful applicants will be then invited to an interview and assessment on 9th October 2018.
