Unit Catering Manager
Dudley MBC Catering Services provide school meals to schools across Dudley; our aim is to provide a high quality at all times ensuring legislation is met, including adherence to the school food standards.
Hours of work are 35 hours per week, 7.30am - 3.00pm ( to include 30 minutes unpaid break), Monday - Friday, term time only.
Salary is Grade 5, SCP 18 - 21 (18,870.00 - £20,541.00 pro rata) £9.78 per hour.
Catering, Cleaning and Caretaking Services are looking to appoint a unit catering manager at Bramford primary school, Park Road, Woodsetton, Dudley, DY1 4JH.
The purpose of the job is to manage the unit within the allocated budget. To ensure that all Catering, Cleaning and Caretaking Services policies and procedures are adhered to within the legal restraints, and overall to meet customer satisfaction.
This is a physical / manual role.
Some experience of preparing , cooking and serving of food within a large catering operation.
Must possess a a valid food hygiene qualification
Must possess a 706/1 and 2 or NVQ equivalent
