Salary range:Circa £21,536 – 26,247
Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours per week (Option of Job Share)
Term:Fixed-Term for 18 Months (with possible extension)

This is an exceptional opportunity to work with two significant national funders: Levi’s and The National foundation for Youth Music, to provide music education to address inclusion, equality and diversity for young people to develop high quality music activity across a wide range of genres, enabling music inclusion and participation our new and exciting music programme at the Pump.
Working with other Pump staff and partner organisations you will take the lead on developing and delivering music making activity throughout the organisation delivering a high quality service to young people, and our funders. Additionally, you will take the lead on all monitoring and evaluation aspects of the programme’s to ensure we are making difference and meeting all stakeholder requirements.
Utilising our new Levi’s music room and recording studio you will create a culture of music making activity that harnesses young people’s potential/personal development and help expand The Pump’s Creative Space’s programme by working across areas to maximise opportunities to inspire and motivate young.
You will lead on the development and implementation of an outreach programme that engages more young people and community groups to increase use of the studio and will need to be proficient in the use of our technical equipment and ideally have live music ability to enable young people to access other forms of music making to broaden horizons and showcase young people’s work.
