This is an exciting opportunity to project manage the implementation of the West Midlands Teaching Partnership. The Partnership is committed to promoting excellence in Social Work Education Research and Professional Practice across the West Midlands.

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Project Manager to work alongside internal and external partners to manage a complex programme of activity and be responsible for coordinating a programme of work.

This will prove to be a challenging, fast-paced and rewarding role which will expose you to a variety of different senior stakeholders, both internal and external. You will be responsible for developing relationships across the partnership, mentoring and developing a project support officer, produce reports and develop a wider understanding of children’s social work in general.

In order to be successful with this role it is necessary that you would have recent experience working in an environment subject to change and transformation, ideally in a social work environment, and are able to be flexible and adaptable. We’re looking for someone with experience in managing multiple concurrent projects and ensuring that they are tracked, well organised and managed effectively.

At Coventry City Council, we’re committed to equal and fair opportunities and would actively encourage applications from under-represented backgrounds to ensure that we have a variety of perspective within our service and can more fully represent the people of Coventry whom we serve.

This will be a very visible role within the Partnership and a great opportunity to showcase your ability and develop your specialisms in a senior capacity in a very busy but rewarding environment.
