Woodcock Hill Primary is a single form entry school in the Northfield area of South Birmingham. We are delighted to be able to offer the opportunity for a Development Officer for Attendance to join our friendly and committed staff team in this key role. The successful candidate will be required to start as soon as possible.  Applicants must be able to demonstrate strategies to improve attendance and evidence how these have worked in a

similar setting. Establishing and promoting relationships with Parents is a key aspect of the role and applicants will be   required to demonstrate excellent communication, presentation and record keeping skills. The post holder will work closely with other key school staff and be expected to attend Parents’ Evenings. The ability to liaise with key school staff and contractors (including Support Staff, Teachers, SENCOs & other internal and external Intervention Strategy  Providers) is key to the success of this role. Applications from those with experience of using and presenting data from the SIMS Discover system will be most welcomed (although this is not essential). 

A full clean driving license would be advantageous but not essential for this post. 

Informal visits to the School are warmly welcomed. Please contact the School Office to arrange this.  This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
