The JCB Academy was established in September 2010, the first of a brand new kind of school in the UK, with a focus on delivering high-quality engineering and business education.

Since opening we have been consistently successful - our first Ofsted inspection, in May 2014, recognised us as a “Good” school with “outstanding” features, including progress in mathematics, engineering and vocational courses and the dedication to keeping students safe and secure. Pupil numbers are growing - we have been oversubscribed every year, including for entry this September.

We are looking for a dynamic teacher to join our business team and deliver our unique, project-based curriculum across both KS4 and KS5. You must be a forward thinker who looks for solutions and is prepared to go the extra mile for their students.

We work with a range of challenge partners, including HSBC, JCB, KPMG, PwC and Trentham Gardens, and our projects are based on their experiences which allows our students access to current industry practice.
