The mathematics department is highly successful. At GCSE in 2018, 81 % gained 9 to 4 grades, with 32 % securing the top 9 to 7 grades. Students make excellent progress in the department. The department is at the forefront of implementing recent curriculum and assessment changes; they are an effective unit. The successful candidate will be joining a strong and supportive team, and will be able to work with an outstanding head of department to lead and develop provision.

We are looking for an outstanding teacher with a commitment to academic excellence and high standards. The successful applicant will have a good knowledge and understanding of the teaching of Mathematics to both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 and will be able to demonstrate excellent pedagogy.
