We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic and professional administrative/finance assistant to represent ‘front of house’ at our school. Heath Mount is on a journey of rapid school improvement, this new role will assist the school in making these changes.

The Head Teacher is seeking to appoint a forward thinking, innovative individual to join our team. You will be working with the Senior Management team, staff and pupils under the direction of the School Business Manager. We are looking for someone who is a superb multi-tasker and is able to remain calm under pressure. You should have administrative

experience, ideally with a finance background.

Reliability and the ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines are essential. Knowledge of ScholarPack and Facility CMIS is desirable, but not essential. Knowledge of Microsoft packages is essential.

The successful candidates will be able to communicate effectively with staff, pupils, parents and visitors. You will be flexible and able to cope with interruption, able to work well in a team and on your own. The main duties will be welcoming visitors, answering telephone calls, dealing with telephone and reception enquiries; collection of cash and

reconciliation of records; filing, processing orders, data entry and general administrative tasks. You will be required to prioritise your workload and have the ability to use your initiative. Applicants should be reliable and enthusiastic with a friendly and approachable manner.

Excellent communication skills and a working knowledge of IT applications are required for this role.

Candidates must meet all requirements of the person specification.
