We are a Humanities Specialist College which became an all through school in September 2012. We achieved IIP Gold in December 2013 and have been awarded Teaching School Status. We have new landmark buildings that provide everyone with state of the art facilities for learning, teaching and training.

As part of the exciting growth plans for the School, we are expanding our team to meet future requirements. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as a Science Technician.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and clearing away all equipment and materials for lessons. They will be required to support teachers in practical lessons as required and be confident to work with Science equipment, safely following all Health & Safety Regulations as necessary. The ability to use own initiative and work efficiently and effectively to tight deadlines would be very helpful. They must have excellent knowledge of Health & Safety/COSHH Regulations for all Science equipment/materials. Applicants must also have a good general standard of education – A* - C in English, Maths and Science or equivalent.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Science Technician to further their experience and contribute to the positive achievement of our children.

The successful candidates will need to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
