We’re looking for an Administrative Assistant to join us. 

The Role

Hours: 25 hours per week

Term time (+3 weeks) may be considered

2 roles available

One position will be based in our Nuneaton office (Town Hall, Coton Rd, CV11 5AA) 4 days per week, and 1 day per week in our offices at NWBC (Council House, South St, Atherstone CV9 1DE).

The other position will be based in our Rugby office (Town Hall, Evreux Way, Rugby, CV21 2RR).

For both positions, there will be occasional travel to the other area offices around Warwickshire (travel to be reimbursed).

Joining our team, you’ll be responsible for carrying out general administrative duties as well as answering the phones and greeting visitors to our offices. You’ll be assisting with organizing meetings; noting actions; diary management; sorting and distributing the post as well as updating our databases. In addition, you’ll be undertaking routine financial processes. You may be asked to work in different locations (travel reimbursed) and help with other duties as required.

Key Requirements

  • Good and accurate literacy, numeracy and administrative skills.
  • Ability to analyse information to solve general queries. 
  • Good keyboard and IT skills. 
  • Good communication skills and can work on your own initiative. 
  • Good planning and organisation skills. 
  • Used to working under pressure to meet deadlines. 
  • Resilient. 
  • Used to handling and processing computerised information. 
  • Strong attention to detail. 
  • Used to working within a team and on your own initiative. 
  • Be flexible to travel to other locations across the county to undertake work as and when required.
