Residential Support Worker - Saxon Hill Academy
A position has arisen for a Residential Support Worker in the residential provision of the school known as Sleepover Club.
Hours: 28 hours per week, split shifts – Mon. p.m. – Fri. a.m. Term Time Only, Fixed Term contract until 31st March 2019.
Required as soon as possible.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic person to work with our dedicated team to support the requirements of our special needs pupils. This will include attending to personal and intimate care, supporting activities and the administration of medication and enteral feeds.
A Level 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable.
The successful candidate will be pupil focused and have the desire and ability to support all of our students with care and mutual respect. You will be able to work as part of a team with energy and enthusiasm and be keen to learn and develop. You will have a strong commitment to improving the lives of our pupils and ensuring that they are happy, comfortable, safe and ready to learn.
The school is committed to the safeguarding and well-being of students and expects all staff to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undergo appropriate child protection screening including a DBS check. You will not be able to commence the position until DBS clearance and satisfactory references have been received.
