We have an exciting key role of Post 16 Pastoral/Attendance Officer & Study Support available in our dynamic and progressive academy. The successful candidate will share the aspirational ambitions of our school and work closely with the Assistant Head Teacher to continue development of the Sixth Form, which has expanded to 400 students from

September 2018. Our school is one of the top state schools in England and was judged ‘outstanding’ by OFSTED in 2014.

This is a part time role during term time with an expectation to attend Open Evenings, Induction Events and results day in August.

Duties will include:

• Monitoring attendance and taking follow up action for any unexplained absence

• Managing the lanyard system

• Assist in co-ordinating the Year 12 mentoring system of students in lower years

• Supervising study in the Sixth Form Hub and other designated Sixth Form areas
