Due to our SENCO taking up a new post, we are looking to appoint someone across 2 schools with experience of working with pupils with a range of additional needs and a good knowledge of the SEND agenda. You will hold the National SENCO qualification and be passionate about making learning effective and enjoyable for our most vulnerable pupils. You will have the opportunity to be fully involved in all aspects of leadership and management across both schools and to make a real difference to the lives of all of our children and community. The role would be 0.2 with the potential of flexible days/hours by arrangement.

We are looking for a SENCO who:
has a proven track record of raising outcomes for all pupils, especially those with Special Educational Needs and Disability;
has excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills and will further develop the role of SENCO;
can demonstrate a clear vision of how to lead Special Educational Needs across both schools;
works effectively as part of a team and in collaboration with school leaders to support our staff to secure rapid progress of pupils with SEND
