37 Hours per week – Fixed Term for 12 months initially

There is an exciting new opportunity that has arisen within the Placements Service to focus on two key priorities for the organisation.

Firstly, identifying the most appropriate and cost effective residential placements for Staffordshire Children and Young People.

Secondly, to work alongside colleagues in the Edge of Care and Intensive Fostering Services to support Children and Young People to stepdown from Residential Placements to Foster Families.

You will be located in the Placements Team and will be in regular contact with Staffordshire Providers, developing strong relationships, and securing residential placements in Staffordshire for our Children and Young People. This will involve working alongside the Business Relations Manager and Quality Assurance Officer.

We are looking for an individual who is confident and competent to work in a fast paced team and who maintains personal resilience to deliver improved outcomes for Children and Young People. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, with good level of IT skills, who is results focused and ultimately strives to make a difference.

This role is on an initial 12 month basis, subject to review on demonstrating the expected outcomes.
