Teaching Assistant(s): Level 1 & 2

Working for Ridgeway School, you will have the opportunity to improve the quality of learning of our pupils who all have a statement of special needs. The job isn’t always easy, but it is extremely rewarding.
We are looking to increase the number of teaching assistants in our classrooms at both Level 1 & 2: fixed term until 20th December 2019 during term-time, including inset days. This is a wonderful chance for anyone with the above enthusiasm and caring nature to join our team. Training will be provided if required, but you do need to make sure that you meet the minimum requirements of our Person Specification.
TA1 - Grade E: 13-17 £12,690 - £13,567 per annum
TA2: Grade G: 21-24 £14,925 - £16,792 per annum
31.53 Hours per Week
Those interested in Level 1 must have a GCSE in literacy and numeracy and understand special educational needs. Level 2 requires a minimum GCSE English and maths at grades A-C / 9-4, O level grades A-C or CSE grade 1, with the ability to plan own workload when required. Previous experience of teaching assistant work is desirable.
You will be required to produce relevant certificates, demonstrating your qualifications on the day of interview if you are shortlisted.
