The post-holder is responsible for undertaking Town and Country Planning and Highways legal advice and assistance and will be required to undertake a workload of specialist legal advice matters with minimal supervision from the Team Leader: Places. The post holder will be expected to advise on a wide area of town and country planning and highways matters including the following areas; town and country planning statute, regulation, and guidance, section 106 agreements, planning enforcement, planning appeals, public inquiries, judicial review, high court proceedings, highways, rights of way, road traffic regulation and associated local government processes and decision-making.
