Children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) deserve to be supported and encouraged to reach their full potential including, where possible, living independent lives. They also deserve to receive help and support from good quality services. We believe that by working together with families and communities we will achieve this.

We're looking for a leader – someone who will have accountability and oversight of the outcomes for children and young people with SEND. As our new Group Manager (SEND), you will be our lead officer for all matters relating to SEND and will lead the re-shaping of services to ensure they are fit for the future. You will also be responsible for strategic budget allocation, managing budgets for individual learners with SEND and for initiating, developing and providing strategic policy guidance related to SEND on our behalf.

This senior position is a key role for us. To be successful, you will need significant experience of working in a SEND setting/context. You will also be educated to degree level or equivalent, have an appropriate professional qualification, and have considerable experience of working at a senior level in a school or Local Authority. You will be able to demonstrate continuous personal professional development in a relevant discipline or area and have the ability to translate this into successful commercial partnership arrangements to achieve outcomes and targets.
