Archbishop Ilsley Catholic School is looking to recruit an innovative and ambitious professional for the position of Head House starting on 1st January 2019.
Archbishop Ilsley Catholic School is a popular and oversubscribed 11-18 comprehensive school situated close to Brimingham City Centre. We consider ourselves to be very family focused and our school pastoral systems reflect our gospel values. Our latest OFSTED report commented that ‘Pupils feel exceptionally well cared for’ and that they ‘behave
respectfully towards each other and their teachers.’ Our Heads of House uphold and support the vision of the school, caring for the welfare and monitoring the progress of
students in their House family. They are the link between school and home and work collaboratively with a range of stake holders.
The successful candidate will work with other Heads of House to support the whole school in the successful running and development of the tutoring system. Applicants will be required to raise standards of pupil progress, behaviour and attendance across the whole school. Archbishop Ilsley welcomes applications from candidates with a range and variety
of experiences. Any applicant for this post must be a qualified teacher and the successful candidate will be required to maintain a teaching commitment.
