Are you a solicitor, barrister or equivalent with a strong background in child care law? If so, we would love to hear from you!

We are seeking to recruit a dedicated, client focussed lawyer to join our successful and well-respected team, providing a high standard of service to our clients.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with an interesting and varied caseload, and a friendly and supportive working environment.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure and to manage concerns with sensitivity. As part of the role you will also be expected to conduct your own advocacy.

You will need to be an admitted Solicitor of England and Wales or a barrister called to the Bar of England and Wales, or have an equivalent qualification.

In return you will receive professional development and the support you need to succeed in this forward-thinking team.

We also offer:

• Flexible working, including flexi leave up to 24 days per year and agile working arrangements

• The opportunity to buy up to 10 days additional leave per year

• Access to our Employee Assistance Programme – a 24 hour independent, free and confidential advice and support service

• Access to the Local Government Pension Scheme

• Employee benefits including a staff discount card

For an informal discussion about this post, please contact Alison Frost, Team Leader – Social Care and Education, or Maria Demosthenous, Senior Lawyer, on 0121 704 6003.

Please note we do not accept CVs.

Interview Date - w/c 22nd October 2018
