5 GCSEs including English and Maths at Grade 4 or above or equivalent qualification

An interest in training as a Learning Support assistant and working with pupils within a SEN setting

A commitment to undertaking NVQ Level 2 TLSA through SMBC nominated learning provider (note this is a distance learning course)

Some previous experience of working with children in an educational setting is desirable but not essential

When you’ve successfully completed your Apprenticeship, you may be given the opportunity to continue in your role or progress onto an LSA role within the school where you’ll receive full training and support.
