Coten End Primary is a large, very popular, 3-form entry school situated in Warwick. There are 608 pupils on roll with the numbers increasing each year until 2019 when we will have 3 forms in every year group throughout the school. The school was graded ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in December 2011 and is well regarded by parents and enjoyed by pupils.

We wish to recruit an Admin Assistant who will join our outstanding team and will be made to feel welcome by all staff and children alike. 28.75 Hours per Week
We are looking to recruit an experienced Admin Assistant who will join our friendly team and assist in the day to day running of a busy school office. You will be the welcoming first point of contact for parents, children, staff and visitors. You will be responsible for the day to day recording of pupil attendance via our MIS system (SIMS) and will provide support for the Inclusion Manager and medical care for children when needed. In this very busy school the role will vary on a daily basis, please see the job description for all areas of the role.
The role is 28.45 hours per week, Mondays (8.15am – 3.30pm; 30 minute break), Tuesday – Friday (8.15am – 1.45pm)
• Minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths at grades A – C, or NVQ
• Excellent communication skills
• Empathetic and caring approach
• Strong administrative skills and a friendly disposition to front the school office
• Experience of customer care
• Able to take direction but prepared to work independently and show initiative when required
• Well organised and work as part of a team
• Flexible and willing to undertake other duties as and when required
• Fulfil the requirements of an enhanced DBS disclosure.
