27½ hours per week term time only

We are a Federation of the Blue Coat Infant and Junior schools.  The two schools share a commitment to high standards and a strong Christian ethos.  We enjoy excellent support from our parents and the schools successfully serve their multi-faith community.  Both schools are three form entry and there are over 650 children attending the two schools. 

The Governors are looking to appoint a highly effective teaching assistant to start as soon as possible. The successful applicant will be based initially in the Junior School but the flexibility to work in any primary key stage is desirable and the successful applicant could be based in either school in the longer term.  The successful applicant will be expected to support the learning of individuals or groups of pupils across all subjects. 

The successful applicant will hold an appropriate NVQ 2 qualification or equivalent.

Appointment is subject to DBS enhanced clearance plus 2 suitable professional references. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
