The Community Assessment Recovery Service (CARS) is a future focused, person centred team who deliver a variety of quality based therapeutic interventions and experienced based care to the people of Worcestershire.  We have adopted a personalised and co-production recovery approach in keeping with best practices.  The service is led by a passionate leader who inspires their team and supports them to grow and develop. The service is currently working towards accreditation from the Royal College of Psychiatry to standardise care delivery across the county and was awarded ‘Good’ status by CQC in January 2018

Our social workers work with partner agencies within an integrated health and health and social care environment to provide collaborative interventions and care packages. They hold a varied and fast paced work load and promote and enable recovery for people with severe and / or enduring mental health challenges.

If you are a newly qualified or an experienced mental health social worker or have experience working as a social worker in a mental health setting you could be part of a forward thinking service that welcomes innovative thinkers and values its employees and people with lived experiences who are accessing its services.
