Casual Arts Centre Assistant
Netherton Arts Centre is a public building, theatre and home to Dudley Performing Arts. The building is used regularly by a range of community arts organisations and other groups who use the building for a range of purposes.

Netherton Arts Centre is a public hall for hire and comprises a theatre and other rehearsal/performance spaces. The building is also home to Dudley Performing Arts. The venue hosts concerts, shows, dance festivals, pantomimes and plays along with weddings/Parts and other events.
The work is varied and includes a range of activities including desk work, dealing with people and physically preparing the building for use. Arts Centre Assistants work in a small team and at times have responsibility for visitors to the centre. There is opportunity to get involved in the preparation and delivery of events both at the Arts Centre and in a broader capacity with Dudley Performing Arts. The work would be particularly suited to those with an interest/experience in the arts.
We require people who have flexibility in work patterns and are prepared to carry out a variety of tasks as required. The work involves face to face communication with the public and staff are often required to lay our rooms and assist with the running of events
Arts Centre assistants must be comfortable with verbal and written communication and ideally will have an interest in the arts. We would like to hear from people who have experience of dealing with audiences/visitors to buildings as well as those with technical expertise linked to sound and stage lighting.
