Specialist Teacher - Casual Supply
An excellent opportunity for a skilled Special Educational Needs practitioner to join a well established and successful traded service and broaden their experience across a range of schools. Work is pupil facing and involves detailed assessments of the learning needs of pupils with SEN.
Hours: Casual Supply as required
Salary: £19.74 to £33.76 per hour (equivalent to MP1 + SEN1 to UPR3 + SEN2)
Location: Saltwells Education Centre, Netherton
Applications are invited from teachers (KS1-2 and/or KS3-4) who are well-qualified and experienced in teaching/assessing pupils with SEN and in advising colleagues/SENCos on the SEND Code of Practice (2015) and/or the co-ordination of SEN provision.
Applicants must be skilled practitioners, highly experienced in teaching pupils with learning difficulties/specific learning difficulties (Dyslexia); with additional/advanced SEN qualifications (or a willingness to train). An excellent understanding of the developmental stages of Literacy and Numeracy is required.
