We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Manager to join our well established team and lead across vitally important areas of the school:-

• Finance

• HR

• Site & Infrastructure

• Health & Safety

• Risk Management

• Support staff CPD

The successful applicant must possess excellent numeracy and literacy skills along with relevant qualifications in either Finance Management or School Business Management.

You will be responsible to the Head Teacher ensuring the effective leadership, management and administration of the schools Financial Management system and processes. You will also be responsible for providing information on all aspects of finance; including budgets, budgetary control, funding and month/ year end procedures; in a timely manner ensuring confidentiality of information is maintained.

You will Line Manage:

• HR Manager

• Senior Caretaker

• Office Manager

• Finance Administrator

You will report to:

• Head of Academy

• Trust Accountant

You will be supported by the HR Manager in co-ordinating Estate Management, Health and Safety, Risk Management, MIS , ICT infrastructure and support staff CPD. Previous knowledge in these areas would be advantageous. You must be competent in the use of spreadsheets and word processing packages together with the ability to communicate at all levels both orally and in writing. Experience of using financial systems would be an  advantage. Tile Cross Academy is a small and caring 11-16 mixed comprehensive school that was created on 1st May 2017. good citizens and lifelong learners. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
