Supervisory Assistant - Summerhill Academy
The Governing Body of Summerhill Academy wishes to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated, happy and caring Supervisory Assistant to join our lunchtime team as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a class over the lunchtime period and will be expected to maintain a safe and nurturing environment for these children. You will be required to help in the dining hall, supervise and assist children in having lunch, promote healthy eating and assist in the school playground leading playground games with the children.
The post is 7.5 hours per week, with fixed hours over the lunchtime period.
The successful candidate should:
- Enjoy looking after children and be confident to work with all ages in a Primary Academy.
- Be reliable, trustworthy and hardworking.
- Be able to setup and supervise safe and engaging activities for our children.
- Be able to work as part of a team and be adaptable to fit in with what is best for our children.
Summerhill Academy is part of the Summer Park Multi Academy Trust along with Jubilee Park Academy and Little Stars Children Centre. It has state of the art technology, making them schools for the 21st century.
