Teacher of Science: Full Time Permanent

Codsall High is a school for students in Years 9 to 13 with almost one thousand students on roll and over three hundred students in the sixth form.

We are looking for a Teacher of Science to join our school in January 2019. The ability to teach GCSE Combined Science is essential. The ability to teach GCSE Biology, GCSE Chemistry, GCSE Physics, an A level in one of these subjects or Level 3 BTEC Applied Science would be an advantage.

The Science faculty is a high achieving faculty which is fully staffed with fully equipped laboratories, having secured its best ever outcomes for GCSE Science in Summer 2018. Students enjoy Science and it is a very popular choice for students in the 6th Form (A Level and BTEC)

The post would suit a trainee teacher looking for their first post, a newly qualified teacher with real potential or an experienced teacher who is already an outstanding practitioner.

Application forms and further details for the above post are available to download from the school website – www.cc-hs.com.

To arrange a tour of the school and Science Faculty please contact Mrs H Zatte, the Executive Headteacher’s PA, at the email address shown above. Completed application forms with a letter of application to the Executive Headteacher should also be sent to Mrs H Zatte.

Closing date for receipt of applications is Monday 22nd October 2018 at 9am with interviews scheduled for Thursday 25th October 2018.
