1 x 30 hour Fixed Term Contract Post Until March 2019
Grade 5 (SCP 21 – 26)
£20,541 - £23,866 per annum (pro rata if part time)
The Post holder will deliver a menu of evidenced based Community Parenting Programmes, providing positive parenting support services and groups offering parenting advice and support including drop-in facilities, and group sessions, with a focus on supporting vulnerable families and enabling school readiness.
They will work assertively with families and by working in a child and young person centred approach, actively seek to empower families to gain and maintain control over all aspects of their lives.
The post holder needs significant experience of facilitation and delivery of evidence based parenting programmes and young people’s groups and experience of working with families, including children and young people and creatively engaging parents and families into services. You will need a NVQ 3 in health, social care, childcare or youth work and undergone training in evidence based Parenting Programmes.
