Inclusion Support Assistant (Birches Head Academy)
Salary Pro rata to 35 hours per week term time only
Actual Salary £14,323 to £15,750
Birches Head Academy wish to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Inclusion Support Assistant to join our Learning Support Team, helping young people to achieve success through overcoming barriers to learning. This role offered is working with small groups of students with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs in a personalised learning centre within the Academy, delivering lessons and interventions.
A level 3 qualification is desirable preferably; NVQ 3 Childcare, NVQ 3 Training and Development Support, but more important is a good standard of English and Maths. Previous experience of working with young people is essential and experience of working in an educational setting with students with SEMH needs would be advantageous.
