King Edward VI School Lichfield is seeking a talented and enthusiastic teacher who is able to teach Music to A-level across the ability and age range as part of a collaborative and high-performing department. The successful candidate will also be keen to contribute to the wide variety of extra-curricular music on offer to students.

Music is popular throughout the school with an increasingly strong take-up for the GCSE course. Our music rooms are full at lunchtimes with students who are keen to practise as part of both formal and informal groups. An interest in Music Technology would be a particular advantage in this role.

We are looking for a teacher with infectious enthusiasm, excellent communication skills with an ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents. We expect the successful candidate to work as part of a team and be willing to participate in all aspects of school life.
