We are looking for a highly motivated and committed individual to join our team as a Reception & Administration Assistant for our 6th Form building.

You will be responsible for dealing all aspects of reception and administration for our 6th Form Team at Waverley School. The ideal candidate will need to be confident and able to communicate effectively with visitors, staff, pupils and other external agencies in a professional and courteous manner. Experience of using Microsoft Office especially word, excel and outlook is essential and it would be helpful if you have used CMIS and E-Portal. You will need to have excellent administration skills and have the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team. Previous experience of working in a school would be very beneficial, but not essential. Applicants must have a good customer service ethic, be flexible in their approach to work and ensure school protocols are adhered to at all times. Applicants should have a friendly and welcoming approach as well as a polite and professional telephone manner as they will be the face and voice of the 6th Form responsible for the smooth running and operation of the reception. All applicants must be numerate and literate and educated to GCSE standard with an A* - C in English.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.

The successful candidate will need to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
