As a Team Manager, your role is crucial. As their first line manager you will oversee a team of 6/7 Social Workers each with caseloads of between 15 -20 children. You’ll will provide support and guidance on a range of complex case work and offer reflective practice opportunities to individual and groups of social workers. In addition, you will provide overall direction for the recruitment, quality, culture and performance of your team. At every stage, you’ll guide, nurture and inspire them to achieve their best.

To excel, you’ll have extensive frontline experience as well as a solid track record of managing and developing a team. We have launched restorative practice as the foundation of our social work approach within the Borough.
