The Role

ONE TO ONE TEACHING ASSISTANT - Level 2
Grade F 17-21

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our small but friendly school that is ‘reaching for the stars.’ This position is to support a child on an EHCP in Year 4.

We are looking for someone who is passionate to work with children and dedicated to help them unlock their full potential. This post will involve planning, resourcing, leading and reviewing interventions based on individual targets and to support the class teacher when adapting work to meet all pupils’ needs.

This post is for term time only and will be for 17.5 hours per week Monday to Friday (mornings only) but will also include training days. There is possibly a chance to extend these hours temporarily to incorporate lunchtime supervision for the child. This will be discussed further at interview. Previous experience of working 1:1 with a child is an advantage.

The initial contract is fixed term and will have an end date of 19th July 2019 unless the child concerned leaves the school earlier.

17.5 Hours per Week

Fixed term until 31st August 2019

Key Requirements
