Keep children and young people safe and give them a good start in life

We are looking for two highly motivated, hardworking candidates with experience of data quality management to join a new data quality team which is being created to support a complex working environment within children’s safeguarding.

The role incorporates a range of activities including the identification, investigation and reporting of data anomalies and working across the service to develop and implement corrective actions. As our data quality experts, you will work closely with our safeguarding & family support staff to ensure first line support and on-the-job coaching/mentoring is readily available.

You must have the ability to identify causes of data quality errors in a safeguarding environment and translate the findings into digestible information that can then be used by operational staff. You will need to possess good interpersonal and communication skills, have experience of working in a team, delivering against statutory timeframes and a passion to ensure that the processes in place are adhered to. You will be required to work on multiple projects concurrently in addition to daily tasks so the ability to multitask is crucial.

The work involves issues of a sensitive and confidential nature and applicants will need to display a clear understanding of the need for complete confidentiality at both application and interview stage.

Benefits with Herefordshire Council:
Holidays: 25 days per year plus 2 days unpaid at Christmas (pro rata for part time)
Pension: LGS pension scheme

We welcome applicants whatever their personal characteristics or social identity. All requests for flexible working arrangements and reasonable adjustments will be considered. All disabled applicants who meet the essential criteria of the job are guaranteed an interview.

Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. If you would like to obtain details regarding feedback on your application please contact Hoople Resourcing at: enquiries@hoopleresourcing.co.uk

In return we offer a comprehensive training programme covering all aspects of our service delivery. If you feel you would like to be part of this dynamic team then we would like to hear from you.
