Receptionist (Maternity Cover)
25.0 Hours per Week
Fixed Term End Date: Easter 2019 (this may be extended if necessary)
We are looking for an experienced Receptionist to join our school on a fixed term basis, to cover a maternity leave. Specific hours can be discussed at interview but ideally the successful candidate will be able to cover Monday to Friday.
Applications are invited from enthusiastic candidates who would be able to provide a high quality support service and be the friendly & welcoming face of Goodyers End Primary School.
The post requires someone with excellent communication, organisational and administrative skils, ideally with experience of IT packages including Word, Excel, Publisher and SIMS.net.
Ideally the candidate will have worked in a school/office environment previously.
The main areas of responsibility will include:
* Being the first point of call for parents, pupils, visitors & staff
* Undertaking reception duties, answering routine telephone and face-to-face enquiries and signing in visitors
* Providing routine clerical support (e.g photocopying, emailing, responding to routine correspondence)
