We are currently recruiting for a Leisure Development Officer.

To support the delivery and development of the Active 4 Life Team, ensuring residents of the Borough have opportunities to participate in sport, recreation and physical activities to improve their health and wellbeing.
Support NBBC in delivering its leisure and playing pitch strategy actions.

Assist local sports clubs to develop, supporting them with funding advice, accreditation and other areas to facilitate Community participation and sustainability.

To support the Active 4 Life team seek excellence in its services to its customers both internal and external and to assist with strategic initiatives as and when required.

You should have Two A ‘Levels or NVQ level 3 equivalent or related sports development qualification.

Essential skills and experience:
- Funding application and bid writing
- Working with Community groups and organisations
- Event organisation and delivery
- Managing Projects
- Building and sustaining partnerships
- Marketing and promotion through social media
