LAWYER – Litigation Team

£31,401 - £36,153 per annum
37 hours per week
Bromsgrove District Council and Redditch Borough Council have a shared legal service, which also undertakes work on behalf of other public bodies in the Worcestershire area.
We are looking to recruit a lawyer to the Litigation Team, to provide general legal advice and representation in relation to Housing, Licensing and general civil litigation to both Councils and partner organisations, and to attend committee meetings.
A qualified solicitor or barrister or FILEX, you will have advocacy experience; demonstrate good organisational and communication skills and be able to work with minimal supervision.
A full driving licence and use of a vehicle is required as you will be expected to travel between a number of different venues, and you must also be prepared to undertake work outside of normal office hours.
This is a full time post but flexible working arrangements and part time options will be considered.
