Receptionist/Administrative Assistant required as soon as possible

Permanent, 25 hours per week, term time only (38 weeks per annum)

8.30 am to 1.30 pm daily

Quarry Bank Primary School is seeking to appoint to the above post to work in our very busy school office/main reception.

The successful candidate will work under the supervision and guidance of the

School Business Manager and be the first point of contact for all enquiries including contributing to the smooth running of the school main reception along with general administrative duties.

The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant will provide/be:

  • efficient and effective administration support for the school;
  • experience of and confidence in dealing with members of the public in a school environment;
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • friendly and approachable, flexible, resilient and hard working;
  • a professional approach, being able to work appropriately under own initiative on his/her own and as part of a team.
