Salary Range: £19,819-£25,463 Pro Rata (actual range: £15,432-£19,925)

Hours per week: 32.5 Term time only 7.30am-2.30pm every day (plus two days in the summer term to be present on results day in order to produce the relevant statistics and distribute results).

Start Date: as soon as possible

Braidwood is a highly successful school for deaf pupils aged between 11 and 18 in purpose built accommodation. The Student Data and Exams Officer plays a crucial role in the school and we are seeking a competent, enthusiastic and flexible person to fill this role and join our very busy office team.

We are seeking an individual who has:

• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills

• The ability to work under pressure

• Excellent literacy, numeracy and ICT skills

• Experience of working in a school or similar role

• The ability to work both without supervision and as part of a team.

Your duties will include:

• Ensuring the smooth running of the examinations process

• Organising staff cover (teachers and communicators)

• Reception duties (answering the telephone, dealing with pupils, parents and visitors)

• Co-ordinating student reports and assessment data

All staff are fully supported in gaining British Sign Language skills. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and

spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
