The Role

19.25 Hours per Week

You will work closely with the SENDCo, class teachers and other Learning Support Assistants supporting with groups/individuals from across the school. 
Part of your role is to work with a small group of children for part of lunchtime, in our newly established Lunch Bunch Club at Briar Hill, to foster and develop self-esteem.

We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant with a passion for child-centred learning; someone with enthusiasm and high expectations for our children; someone who can inspire and motivate others; someone who has a genuine care for children to succeed in all aspects of their lives; someone willing to work as part of a team who will be able to support Quality First teaching and have excellent English and numeracy skills.

Contract: Part time on fixed term contract. Term time only and 5 teacher training days. 
Start date: Starting as soon as possible and ending on 19 July 2019. 
Hours: 19.25 hours per week, 9.00-1.00 four days a week, 9.00-12.15 one day a week 
Salary: Band D (10 -13) £16,863 – £17,391 pro rata
