Service Information Officer
City of Wolverhampton Council’s Customer Services, provides access to a growing range of Council services for customers contacting the Council by telephone, e-mail and in person.
We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to provide an effective and efficient public interface for Adult Social Services.
The main duties of the post will be to be receiving enquires from the public and other agencies, signposting clients to the appropriate services and initiating referrals for assessment for social care services. You will also need proven administrative experience and high level of accuracy.
• You will have excellent communication skills, a demonstrable customer focus and a professional approach to resolving customer enquiries.
• Commitment to quality, enthusiasm, an eye for detail and excellent customer skills are essential.
• Proven customer service experience preferably in a Contact Centre environment and experience of Adult Social Care will be beneficial.
Successful candidates will be invited to attend for assessment and formal interview.
