The City of Wolverhampton Council is looking for an Apprentice to join their Democratic Services team.
Level 2 Apprentice – Democratic Services
Fixed term contract for 12 months
37 Hours per week
Rate of pay: Under 18 - £155.40 per week
Over 18 - £289.71 per week
We are seeking to employ a Democratic Services apprentice to assist in our busy Democratic Services Team. The successful candidate would undertake an interesting and varied role where attention to detail and confidentiality are paramount.
Applicants should have GCSE passes at Grades A – C in English and maths or equivalent qualifications. If these cannot be evidenced, you will be asked to complete English and maths assessments as part of the and oral communication skills, self-motivated and the ability to work as part of a team.
An Apprenticeship with Democratic Services will give you the opportunity to gain 'hands on' experience on how decisions are made at the Council at both Officer and Councillor level. The work you undertake in this role will support you towards completing a Level 2 apprenticeship in Business & Administration.
The interview/assessment day for this role will take place on Friday 23 November 2018. Further information will be given if you are shortlisted for the assessment day. Please note that if you do not attend a testing date or if you attend and do not pass the testing stage the offer of employment will be withdrawn.
