This is an exciting time to join Starbank School. We are an all through school with our first cohort of GCSE exams taking place this year. Starbank is passionate about building brighter futures for all students and maximising the academic achievement of learners whilst enabling them to develop and flourish as well rounded individuals.
We are seeking to appoint invigilators to join our examination team who are reliable, enthusiastic and flexible. This role is to supervise examinations as necessary throughout the school year. The Exams team are entrusted with ensuring exam regulations are followed in a formal yet supportive environment within which our students can fulfil their potential.
The successful candidates will also ensure that guidelines and regulations for the integrity and security of the examination papers and procedures are followed during examination sessions. Full mandatory training will be given to successful candidates. Applicants will need to demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and have effective communication skills. Applicants will possess GCSE’s grade C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent) Work pattern working hours will be variable depending on the examination requirements, but will normally be between 8.00am and 4:00pm.
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
