We would like to establish a bank of Relief Child Care Play Workers who are required on a casual basis.

The Relief Play Worker position will cover planned absences, staff illness and ratio requirements, across a variety of time sessions, between the hours of 07:45 – 08:45 for before school club and 15:00 – 18:00 for after school club, during term time, inset days and holiday play schemes.

Candidates must have, at least, an NVQ Level 3 Certificate in Children and Young People Workforce, its equivalent. The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working with children and other adults, to develop a safe and caring environment, where children enjoy learning and playing.

Salary will be paid on Band A Point 7 – 11, currently £16,495 - £17,007 plus annual leave pro rata, dependant on experience and qualifications. This will be paid at an hourly rate for hours worked.
