Wednesfield High Specialist Engineering Academy is situated in the north-east area of Wolverhampton. There are approximately 875 students attending the academy which includes 150 who are Sixth Form.


Since September 2004 the academy has held Engineering College status. There are links with other secondary schools and with the University. We are also the lead school in Wolverhampton for Jaguar Land Rover and their new engineering plant on the i54. We have a committed, talented team of staff who work exceptionally hard to ensure the success and enjoyment of students.

We are seeking to appoint an Business Administration Apprentice who will be working towards a professional administration qualification whilst gaining relevant workplace experience within an educational setting.


The business administration qualification will be funded by the academy and will require day release to Wolverhampton College.


The successful candidate will;


• Support the Academy with administrative and clerical duties under the direction of the Academy Business Manager.


• Support the organisation of academy events and marketing communications


• Contribute towards the maintenance of accurate record keeping and the Schools Information Management System (SIMS).


• Carry out ad hoc duties as and when requested by the Head Teacher and Business Manager.



Skills & Experience:


Keen and Enthusiastic to learn


Highly Professional


Good communication skills


English language and Mathematics GCSEs - Level 4 or Grade C minimum


IT Literate
