Do you have the ability to communicate verbally and in writing in any of the following languages?


The Ethnic Minority Achievement Service maintains a register of people with good language skills to work as bilingual education assistants in Primary and Secondary schools across the City. You will be supporting newly arrived children to settle into school and begin to learn English.

You will need:

• To be fluent in one or more of the languages listed above
• To have a good command of written and spoken English
• To be available to work for a minimum of 4 sessions per week (to include at least 2 morning sessions)

About us

Coventry Ethnic Minority Achievement Service provides in-class bilingual support for newly arrived children, helps with the admissions process and offers advice and support to schools in addition to providing an extensive programme of Community Language classes.

Working Pattern

This is casual employment paid on a sessional basis.
