West Midlands Fire Service are looking to recruit an experienced Building Surveyor within the Facilities Management Section.
The role presents an excellent opportunity, you must have an aptitude for handling multi-disciplined and diverse workloads, with ability to deliver projects on time, within budget and to high standards, and be able to organise and control planned and reactive repair and maintenance works on across a diverse property portfolio.
Experience of delivering Capital Projects would be an advantage
Applicants should preferably be educated to Degree level or HNC (or similar professional qualification) or alternatively have gained relevant experience from similar roles. Applicants must be fully conversant with all current built environment regulations and legislation, including CDM.
A clean current driving licence and your own car are essential as travel will be a core requirement of the role.
